La nueva generación de estudiantes y el actuar docente, bajo un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje competente

Resumen

Many educative reforms have been developed in the country, as a consequence of demographic increasement and due to the number of students in the different educational levels, making it harder to provide an adequate teaching-learning process to have graduates with great capacity and abilities that will benefits society. Do to the previously stated reasons, the processes, models and techniques were reformed to make them fit more to what is demanded by businesses, society, and as a productive consequence make the country’s life quality better. It is important to face all the challenges that are coming up nowadays like widening the reach, the improvement of quality and the search for quality. The new educative model is oriented to competitivity but, what is being competent? What are the features that a teacher must have, and how should his attitude towards this new reform be? Does it apply to all students’ profiles?, What are the features that our students really have that make them competent? All these questions are the interest topic of this article, and, in its development we try to provide with an answer to each one of them.
